The Essentials We’re Looking for in a New Team Member…

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or similar (CPA/CA a bonus).
• 6+ years’ experience in public practice accounting firms
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Proficiency in XERO with MYOB or QuickBooks experience a plus
• You must have full working rights in Australia
• Passionate and enthusiastic personality
• Reliable, dependable, and responsible
• Quick learner with regard to industry and work in general
• Smart/neat dress style
• Competent typing skills with accurate spelling
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent English communication skills
• Someone wanting to work in a high quality service company that is growing and wants to grow with it
• Able to work in a team as well as individually, unsupervised

Responsibilities and Regular Tasks for This Role Include:

• Play a key role in supporting our clients from our Springfield Lakes office
• Prepare financial accounts, tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns.
• Build strong client relationships and provide practical, tailored advice.
• Staying across accounting, tax, and business law changes.
• Work across bookkeeping, compliance, and business advisory.
• Identify new opportunities for our clients and our firm.
• Support junior staff and contribute to our positive, professional team culture.
